Welcome

Thank you for your interest in our schools. We offer a traditional Montessori program for children from 3 years old to 6th grade. We hope the brief outline below will lead you to make an appointment to come and discover the full scope of the education we provide. We are very proud of our students, schools, and the tradition we have established during the past years.

Student Enrollment

We enroll students from age two and a half in our preschool program to Kindergarten. Students are able to continue with their Montessori education to 6th grade at our elementary school building.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Maitland Montessori School is a private school offering a Montessori education to those enrolled. We aim to provide each child with an individual, developmentally appropriate education program within the framework of a full Montessori curriculum and philosophy. This includes the use of manipulative materials on the floor and at the table. We work towards, and, therefore, the child has to be capable of, achieving independence with an inner self-discipline and self-motivation; love of learning; care of self, others, and the environment. Maitland Montessori School admits students without discrimination on the basis of political affiliation, religion, race, color, sex, mental or physical disabilities (including HIV infection, blindness, deafness, mobility impairments, etc.) and grant them all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the schools. The school does not discriminate on the basis of the above mentioned in the administration of its educational policies, athletic, and other school administered programs.

Campus Safety

All employees complete required State of Florida background screening. Our volunteers are also background screened.

The hallways and perimeter of the school are video monitored 24/7.

The safety of our students and staff is our primary concern.
