BLUE ROOM
Thank you, Blue Room families, for the wonderful food and fellowship at our "international" Thanksgiving feast!  The children certainly are good cooks!  Our
studies of nutrition and foods of the world will continue as we look at holiday celebrations from around the globe.  If you have any food or other items you would like to contribute to our studies, please let us know.  We are looking forward to our study of great artists and to a new year filled with learning explosions
!

RED ROOM
We greatly enjoyed learning about the pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving.  Thank you for providing the appropriate food items for our Thanksgiving feast.  As we enter into the holiday season, we invite you to share your special customs with our class, for instance, Chinese New Year, Eid, Diwali, and Hanukah.  A  brief written description and appropriate holiday attire would be ideal.  We are pleased to report a surge in reading; more than half of our children are reading and we are in need of volunteers to listen to readers.  Please do not feel you have to dedicate the entire morning; if you have an extra hour that morning or afternoon, just let us know.

YELLOW ROOM
The children will continue their work in all areas of our classroom as we complete the first half of our school year.  The month of December will include lessons on holidays around the world and making crafts for Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanzaa.

Best wishes to all of our families for a joyous holiday season and a happy new year in 2007!

Please remember to label your child's outer wear with his or her name.
